After decades in corporate design,
I focused on family and volunteered in my children's classrooms. Congruently, Los Angeles Unified School District imposed budgetary cuts for their Visual Arts program. In addition to facilitating curriculum based art lessons and running school-wide art shows where my children attended, I began to do the same at schools that were near the poverty line and became more involved with arts education in a broader way.
